A/N- This story will have things from the sixth book in it and if you haven't read it and don't want to know what happens yet, do not read this! Take it easy on me because I've never written a Harry/Ginny or a Ron/Hermione or a Remus/Tonks story before! Read, Enjoy, and please Review! Please no flames!

Chapter 1- The Train Ride Home

Harry was starring outside the train windows. So much had happened this year, so much pain was caused. Harry had so many emotions running through him that he thought he might explode.

"Harry? Can I talk to you?" It was Ginny, sweet Ginny. The girl he couldn't have because he was damned.

He nodded and watched her sit calmly down beside him. He recognized the fire in her eyes and knew he was in for it.

"HARRY JAMES POTTER! I know you think you've got to be some macho he-man and protect me by pushing me away, but I won't be set aside for my own protection! You know me too well, you know I'll stand up and fight. I know you love me, I know you do. I love you more than anything in the world. If Ron and Hermione are going with you, then I'm going." She yelled holding her head up high.

"No! I can't allow you to do that! Too many people have died for me…I don't want you hurt."

"Well too bad, because I'm coming and there's nothing you can do about it." She finished stubbornly.

Harry sighed. There really wasn't much he could do about it.

Ginny smiled triumphantly and curled up beside him.

The compartment door opened and in walked Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, Katie Bell, and Seamus Finnigan.

"Harry, we all think you should start the D.A. again." Neville said

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"How? If Hogwarts closes…"

"Oh Hogwarts won't exactly be closed." Luna interrupted. "Any student that wishes to come back next semester, then they can come back. But I've heard McGonagall say we will be learning more fighting techniques and that witches and wizards from all around the world will come to train at Hogwarts to fight Voldemort." She finished

Harry sighed.

"I think I can, but not during the summer. I've got some things I need to do and three people are already coming and I'll have no more lives endangered."

Neville nodded and everyone left. Then Hermione and Ron stepped through.

"Weren't you two supposed to be broken up?" Ron asked suspiciously.

Ginny smiled. "He saw things my way eventually."

Harry rolled his eyes, but smiled at her.

"So, Harry, will you be moving into Grimmauld place then?" Hermione asked

Harry nodded. "I thought I'd go check out Godric's Hollow after that. See if anything was left behind."

Ron gulped.

"Do you think we have a good chance of dying on this…mission so to speak?" he asked, not really wanting an answer.

Harry nodded.

"Thought so." He groaned.

Soon the train came to a stop and Ron looked out the window. How would they sneak past their parents?

"We're going to have to tell them." Hermione said quietly.

They all nodded in agreement and climbed out of the train. Mrs. Weasly hugged them all and Hermione told them she'd be at Grimmauld place in two days.

Ron, Harry, and Ginny all stayed quiet on the ride home. Wondering how they were going to tell them.
