Most girls would complain about having gym first thing in morning. All that hard work of getting ready in the mornings just to be turned into a sweaty mess would never appeal to someone like Harmony. But for a Slayer it was the perfect way to wake up. It wasn't like it was really a workout anyway. The only problem occurred when Buffy was too sleepy from a late night patrol to immediately remember to temper her strength. Normally Willow was there to cover for her with an endless supply of babble that would cause the inquires to die off in confusion. But Willow hadn't been in gym today. So now Buffy was in the showers a nearly an hour early after breaking James' leg within the first five minutes of class. The cool water was not helping to cool her temper, however; Buffy had pulled an all night slaying and was still buzzed. Her anxiety about Willow was not helping her calm down either. Despite the fact that Willow hated gym, the redhead would have sooner cut off her arm than missed any official "class."
"Well it looks like someone had trouble controlling themselves today," a voice purred behind Buffy.
Startled, Buffy spun around to find Willow much too close. Her friend stood within arms reach, her head titled slightly as she watched Buffy with a silted gaze. She was completely naked, spray from the shower glistening on her pale porcelain skin. Buffy dragged her gaze back up to Willow's eyes, startled by the intensity of their deep green gaze. Buffy's own gaze narrowed, how had Willow managed to sneak up on her?
"Will, are you alright?" Buffy inquired, tensing.
Will took a step closer, Buffy didn't move.
"Very good Slayer," the Vampire said in a throaty voice, the seductive tones completely at odds with the way Willow spoke.
Buffy held her soap aloft in a battle stand confident but sickened at the prospect of Slaying any form of Willow. "How can you be here? It's daylight."
"I don't see any windows here, do you Pet?" Willow mocked, her eyes never leaving Buffy's face. "And this school is really so horribly constructed; don't they know that sunlight actually increasing endorphins?" The Vampire still had Willow's knowledge apparently. "I don't blame everyone for wanting to leave here, such a depressing place."
"I'll be happy to show you the door," Buffy retorted.
"I'm sure you would Pet," Willow said, reaching out slowly to finger a lock of Buffy's damp hair careful to keep her movements painfully slow.
Buffy held stock still, the blood coursing in her veins.
"I haven't fed yet," the Vampire said into the sudden silence. "You'd be my first."
She edged closer, close enough for Buffy to feel the Vampire's breath on her pulsing jugular. Still Buffy didn't move. Green eyes looked up and searched the blue orbs storming in a sea of confusion. Slowly she bent her head and kissed the hollow of Buffy's throat, causing Buffy to draw a ragged breath. Slowly the Vampire drew away half an inch. "My very first," the vampire murmured as her face morphed.
