It was the third day of the Horde. Akane was working through the boys at her usual tempo. The boys were almost all defeated. Only four boys remained. Wait, make that three, two, o… That's no boy.

"Kin-san? What are you doing here?" Akane stared at her classmate.

"Defeating you of course," she answered and kissed Akane on her lips. Akane just stared at her. "Defeated! You owe me a date." Kin giggled as she ran off to class. Akane was standing still and stuttering, before walking off to class, ignoring Kuno's speech. Something he couldn't understand, it left him standing, until lunch.

"Ok, when? Maybe tonight to get it over with?" Akane looked at Kin-san and tried to hold her voice at normal levels when asking.

"Sounds good to me. I don't really have anything to do tonight. At 18?" Kin smiled broadly at Akane. Akane sighed.

"Fine, 18. I'll be at your apartment at 18." Akane sighed again.

"Sorry father, I can't stay for our family meeting, I have a date tonight and I'm late as it is. Bye!" Akane rushed out through the door and left her father standing.

"She, she, she, she… has a boyfriend? Joy! Now I only have two girls to marry off. Nabiki, Kasumi, let's take the meeting right off!" Soun was beaming as he sat down at the table with his two remaining daughters.

"What is it father?" asked Kasumi.

"I received a mail today. My good friend Saotome is coming here. He and I agreed to marry our families together. His only son and one of my daughters. What a joyous day." Soun was still beaming.

"Is he cute?" Nabiki inquired.

"Hehehe, I don't know." Soun answered.

"Is he young?" Kasumi followed up.

"Hehehe, I don't know."

"What do you know?" Nabiki was having a hard time keeping cool after a bad day with the bets in school. Akane had lost to the Horde!

"Hehehe. I don't know anything, I've never met him." Nabiki stared at her father as if he had grown three heads.

"AND YOU'RE GONNA MARRY US TO HIM!" Nabiki exploded, something that hadn't happened in many years. The doorbell cut it short.

"Ohh! It must be them!"
