A/N: I was finally able to get enough inspiration together to write the 2nd part of the three- part series. I know this isn't as emotionally rich as part one, but Raoul really doesn't have a whole lot of character development in the play and in reality, his interaction with Christine is minimal. I could go about this for a while. If you would like to discuss this further, email me. Or... go to my site and leave a note in my guestbook. Please review!

The Songs: Part Two: Raoul
No more talk of darkness…
What is this darkness that comes from your lips? You sing like an angel. You are the most wonderful thing in the world. Why must you mar the exquisite features with terror? All you talk about now, when you're not singing, is him. That monster of music who haunts this cursed Opera House! Why can't he leave you alone? He is destroying you. Am I the only one who sees?
Forget these wide-eyed fears…
The fear in your eyes when you talk about him. It cuts through my skin and penetrates my heart. You were so vibrant and beautiful. So full of life and no fears, no regrets. I remember how you looked the day I rescued your scarf from the surf. Your hair was flying everywhere and you looked like an angel. Why do you know let him scare you?
I'm here, with you, beside you…
Ever since that day in the surf, I've wanted you to be mine, needed you to be here. And now, I can prove it. No matter what this fiend does, no matter what happens, I'll always be there for you. You speak as if he loves you. He loves you! Ha! Impossible! Nobody that evil and dangerous can love. If he loves you, then why does he haunt you and steal your beauty?
To guard you and to guide you…
He'll never get you. If he wants you, he'll have to go through me first. You need someone to lift you up from the pit of despair. Oh, Christine, I'm so sorry. I didn't want you to do this, but you have to play the role. But I'll be there to help you along. No one will harm you, not while I'm here.
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime…
Can't you see that I need you? I love you, Christine. I want to be there for you. you don't need him to succeed. You only need me and your voice. Come away with me. We'll fly away to somewhere…anywhere… just as long as it's away from here. And him.
Love me, that's all I ask of you…
I love you with all my heart and soul. Do you… will you…love me too? Will you let me love you? I want to protect you and save you. I love you. All I ask is that you love me in return.
