Just Happy

Delte walked over to the balcony and leaned over. She giggled when she saw that her view was of Rune yelling at Rath and Thatz.

"Ne! Rune-sama!" she yelled waving her arms around.

Rune stopped waving his pointer finger and looked up at Delte. "Yes?" he asked.

"Don't injure them too badly! Otherwise Lykouleon-sama won't be able to use them!" Delte replied in a teasing manner.

Rune sweatdropped and looked like he was thinking about something. That is, until Rath tried to run off. Rune instantly grabbed Rath's collar and thus Rath was pinned to his exact same location.

Rune started yelling at Rath and shaking him erotically.

Delte laughed.

If you asked me why I love him…

The easy answer would be that he saved my life

My knight in shining armor…

Thatz slowly circled around Rune until he was directly behind him. Thatz then carefully stepped backwards until he was halfway across the court. Then he sprinted off in some random direction.

Rune was too busy yelling at Rath to notice.

Delte laughed harder.

But if you want the truth…

I love him because he makes me laugh

Everything's always so interesting whenever he's around

I know that my love's unrequited

But that's okay

Just watching him makes me happy

And I really just need to be happy

Not extraordinarily happy

Just Happy

Thatz burst into the room. "Oi! Delte!" he yelled.

Delte snapped to attention, "H-hai Thatz-san?"

Thatz fell to his knees. "Please, oh please tell me how well I'll do in tonight's game of Life!" Thatz begged.

Delte relaxed and put on a playful expression, "I don't know…I did see Rune-sama scolding you just now…"

Thatz's shoulders fell.

"And I also saw your little move to get away from Rune-sama…"

Thatz grimaced.

Delte laughed at the silly Thatz, "But! I'll help you anyway."

Thatz grinned and stood up. "Where are your cards?" he asked looking around.

Delte pulled the cards from her pocket and walked to a nearby table.

Thatz sat down across from her and she started shuffling the cards.

"Hm…" Delte muttered looking at the set-up of the cards.

Thatz looked pensive, "Is it…bad?"

Delte looked up at Thatz with a smile, "Depends on how you look at it. It seems that you will have lots of luck with money tonight…"

Thatz looked radiant and leapt out of his seat, "YOSH!"

"BUT"

Thatz sat down.

"Alfeegi will cut your game short and you'll get yelled at a lot. Then Rune-sama will find out and he'll yell at you too." Delte finished.

Thatz looked downcast, "That's no fun…"

Looks like someone needs some cheering up. "Chin up!" Delte tried to be enthusiastic. "If you're careful you might get to keep SOME of your money…"

Thatz looked up, "Oh yeah…if I keep half of my earnings stashed away Alfeegi'll never suspect that I hid some of it away so I'll at least make some quick cash!"

Delte grinned. "So you're still going through with it?" she asked

"Of course!" Thatz perkily replied. "You predicted it so it has to come true. Thanks Delte!" he got up gave Delte a kiss on the cheek and left.

Delte blushed a very deep crimson.

Yes, being around him makes me happy…

You never know when I might get something out of it too!

Delte put a hand to her cheek and gave a very wide grin.

Yes, my beloved dragon knight of earth…


Makes everything worthwhile!

"NANI?" was heard from outside. "DOKO WA THATZ!"

Delte held her arm over her stomach and she started laughing again.

I don't know what a drabble or a vignette (sp?) is but I'm guessing it's one of those…. I wrote this story last May I like it. It's not angsty or anything but it's not humorous. I put it in romance because it's one-side DelteThatz
