Betrayal
The demons just seem to creep up on you
Looking for someway
To reach your pure heart,
Trying to take the feelings that you've stored up
In your heart;
And now its found a way
Deep inside that pure heart of yours
By your true love…
This one betrayed you;
"I hate you," he says.
"I can't stand you," he cries
this demon crushes your pure heart
squeezing the happiness right out of you
like a dementor lurking over your shoulder
returning you to that same betrayal
that hurt so much
over and over again
taking everything in your power
not to cry,
not to cry a tear in fear of
living the later life as if it were a book
that you could throw around and not care that it gets torn;
your raking at your brain
trying to find the exact reason that he betrayed you so bad,
but that slick little demon just keeps cracking your brain,
but as darkness falls
on top of your face; cooling all the redness from your
hot burning figure,
you begin to reliaze that the betrayal that you once thought
was true but now,
questions arise at the sign that their may be
someone who started this.
Later you figure that may be
It just wasn't… him,
The darkness crawls down your face
The demon screams in pain
Knowing that you figured it out,
The dementor leaves you
As if it had others to feast on,
And as the sun sets in you mind's eye,
You figure that
That betrayal may just be
The greatest betrayal of all
