Trapped in the Shinra Mansion, Zack and Cloud form a powerful psychic connection as a result of Hojo's experiments on them. This connection follows them through their imprisonment, escape, and across the veil between life and death. This story explores consequences of this through the whole series. What begins as a fight against a corrupt corporation turns into a struggle for the life of the planet itself. Instead of killing Angeal at Modeoheim, Zack talked him down "off the ledge" (so to speak) and took him back to Shin-Ra. Alive. Now Angeal has disappeared and Hojo appears to be involved. Sephiroth and Zack hunt for their friend and unearth revelations neither can bear. Inspired by Hojo's introduction to Crisis Core Mission 5-1-6.

It's mayhem in the alternate timeline! Sephiroth must be caught, and Tifa attempts to land a job nobody had expected her to even consider. Later chapters are based on Advent Children, only starring Zack instead! Zack x Yuffie, Cloud x Tifa, Tobin x Cissnei. Rated M for violence, profanity, and nudity.

Summon Materia is based on legends and real creatures. The real ones are out in the world freely, like chocobos and moogles. Even the gods themselves, but they are far more hidden. Though for Cloud, he just happens to know one of them rather personally. Why, you may ask? Turns out that Odin just happens to be his dad.

AU. Cloud Strife, a getaway driver for the Lockhart crime family, is only in it to settle a score that goes back decades. But even as savvy and icy as he is, he doesn't realize how deep it all runs. And he has no idea he's about to fall hard for the girl who first caught his eyes years ago, who he determined he would never give a second thought. All he wants is to drive.

Zack and Cloud have made it to Midgar! Starting up a mercenary business is a little difficult, but not as difficult as dealing with memories of Nibleheim burning and subsequent time of prisoners of Hojo. Of course, living in the Slums means it’s only a matter of time before ShinRa’s efforts to restart the War with Wutai boil over and affect innocent lives.

Things are looking up for Cadet Cloud Strife. He actually has friends, unlike in Nibelheim, and now General Sephiroth of all people wants to train him personally. If only he could figure out why everybody keeps asking him if he remembers. Or: A Time Travel Fix-it where everybody but Cloud remembers at first. Some are more subtle than others.
