Its amazing what we lose
In 365 days,
To you that may seem like a lot
Of time;
But to me, it just seems to whoosh away
Within a 24 hours time.
In those 365 days
That we spend our whole lives in the coming years
That so many things can happen
In just one year.
You can have your first kiss and live through it all
Beyond this very same day
So many days go by that you seem to dream through it all.
Like on some days you seem to have this one special friend
And the next this special friend disappears from your very eyes.
But in just one day
I lost
My whole self
To you; my friends, 365 days is a long time,
But to me, I lost myself in just one
Of those silly
365 days
