" Mysterio's Big Cojones"
It had been one month and two weeks since Eddie Guererro's death. Rey had emotionally recovered from the untimely accident and was wrestling at his best again.
Tonight he would start a brand new storyline. Vince had told him that he would get a big surprise at the Royal Rumble.
This time, unfortunately, the writers had not told Rey what he would accomplish this month.
So as usual Rey had read his script that was put in his room. He was surprised at the storyline the writers had attempted.
Apparently he was the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. This should be interesting. He thought to himself.
He didn't know how this storyline would turn out but he was prepared for the ride.
He stepped outside of his room and headed toward the stag. He had a match first on the card.
It was against Mr. Kennedy
He had headed out and started his match with Kennedy.
13 minutes later he springboarded Kennedy for the win.
After his match he headed out of the ring but was stopped short by Matt Hardy's Music.
Matt was the current World Champion. Hoe had won the title after a 6-man Armageddon Hell in a cell match at Armageddon.(Batista had to vacate his title after suffering a back injury).
"Well. well" Matt said through a Microphone."Rey Mysterio. The GM just told me that your the #1 contender for my title. Well, I guess you could be up to the challenge, heh, see you at the Royal Rumble."
And with that Matt had left the arena.
