When I'm afraid and don't want to face it
When I want to run and not be found
When I feel like there's nothing to make anything worth it
There's always one girl who can turn me around.
And now I feel like running
And never looking back
But she walks close and holds my hand
She's the light on my lonely path.
We come closer to my fear
And my heart pounds in my chest
I said that I would never come back here
That I'd never again walk up its steps.
There is a house on Grimmauld Place
That hardly a soul can find
It's a place where Black hearts used to dwell
Now it holds my pain inside.
It's a pain that makes me want to scream
And I start to shake down to my bones
I feel an empty hole inside
I wish that to someone this house was still home.
"What are you afraid of?"
She whispered in my ear
"There's no one here to hurt you
And nothing here to fear."
"It's just a house with walls and stairs
Just some wood and stone
It's a place where you were happy once
Go inside and feel it for your own."
And so with that I took a step
And soon came to the door
I pushed the handle slowly
And entered 12 Grimmauld Place once more.
It was late that night
As I lay in my bed
With the moon shining bright in my eyes
That I heard the door creek open slowly
And I saw that beautiful smile.
She climbed in bed beside me
And placed her head down on my chest
I worked my fingers through her hair
And sighed in my content.
I thought that it would always hurt
That this house would never let me sleep
But with her beautiful heart beside me
Luna Lovegood brought me peace.
