Summary: Something's wrong with Inuyasha and Kagome wants to find out what. What could happen?

Confession of Love

Kagome worried about Inuyasha, he had been quiet for a couple days.
She knew something was on his mind and she was going to find out. She would sometimes find him staring, deep in thought, she tried to ask him what was on his mind but he just shook his head.

One day, she walked up to him and sat down next to him. "Inuyasha, what's wrong? You've been quiet for 2 days."
He looked at her and said, "Nothing's wrong wrench, Why?" She looked at him all teary eyed and started crying.
Inuyasha looked at her panicked and hugged her saying, "I'm sorry Kagome, I didn't mean to make you cry."
Kagome looked up at him and said, "I just wanted to see what was wrong!"
He looked away for a moment then looked back into her eyes. She has never in her life, seen him look so serious, he said, "Kagome...I'll tell you what's wrong, but promise me you'll wait till tomorrow night?"
She nodded and hugged him, glad that he was talking to her.
"We should go to bed." Kagome said, looking at the already sleeping companions.
Inuyasha nodded and then jumped into his favorite tree, making himself comfortable. Kagome smiled and snuggled into her sleeping bag.

The next morning, Inuyasha woke up early dawn, he was still confused on if he should tell Kagome he loved her.
He watched as his friends were woken by the sun light. Kagome looked so beautiful in the bright light. Inuyasha looked at her and thought, 'I'm going to tell her tonight, no matter what.'
"Inuyasha! Did you want some ramen?" Kagome asked from the ground. Inuyasha jumped down and she laughed.
They ate and decided that they were going to stay at camp for the day.

That night, Inuyasha took Kagome to a grassy hill, beneath the stars.
"Kagome, this is what has been on my mind, please don't get offended." Inuyasha said.
Kagome hugged him and he smiled, "Kagome, I...I love you."
Kagome looked up and into his eyes, she squealed and hugged him so tight, he felt he couldn't breathe. "I love you too!"
He pulled her up and kissed her, showing how much love he has been hiding for all that time.
