She was gone now. No longer would she be able to boss him around. No more chores, no more training. He could do whatever he wanted now. Isn't this the life he always wanted? IF it is how come it feels like somethung...or someone is missing...
Never thought of saying goodbye
Never thought there was a need to
Never...
He let out a sigh as he stared at the stars like every night. But for some reason today felt different. The house felt empty..His heart felt empty."Empty.." he sid aloud. His word echoed back at him the sound ringing in his ears. He got up and went into the next room. He had kept it the way she had left it before she left. It was his way of remembering her...
He had no way of stopping the inevitable
He should have been expecting it
Expecting...
How long has it been? A month? A year? It doesn't matter anymore. All he knew was it was too long. A day without her seemed to have pained him. Laying awake at night hoping that oneday...when he opens his eyes, he would see her. She would be staring back at him with a small smile plastered on her face. Small but visible.
Hoping...One of the days
Praying...We'll see each other again
Again...
This room and this picture was the only thing that would remind him of her. They never got to see each other one last time. He could remember rushing to the hospital. His heart pounding was pounding. He opened the door only to see the doctor put the white sheet over her head. He had missed it. He had missed his last chance to say goobye. Most importantly, missed his last chance to say the words he had always wanted to say and longed to hear. They never got the chance to hear each others last words.
I love you...

I love you...
He found himself wandering. Wandering somewhere, but at this point he didn't really care. He needed to take his mind off things...or people. He was in the cemetery, infront of a large gravestone. His hands traced around the delicately carved words "Anna Asakura" He recalled the funeral. He had dug the grave with his bare hands and even marked the grave. It was his last chance to show her how much she really mattered to him...if only she could've see.
I'll always be with you
maybe not physically
but i'll always be in your heart
I promise...
