Someone Who Cares
Summary: Inuyasha is shot with an arrow by Kikyo. Kagome finds the half- demon and runs to him. She takes care of his wounds and Inuyasha knows now that Kagome loves him, half- demon or not.

Someone Who Cares
Chapter 1

Kikyo shot her arrow and it flew straight at Inuyasha.
Inuyasha froze, not knowing what to do and not thinking. He closed his eyes as he waited for the arrow to collide with his flesh.
The force threw him backwards and into a tree. Pain spread through out his body and he barley opened his eyes. Kikyo was gone and he closed his eyes again, waiting for death to take him away.
He heard rustlings in the bushed and stayed still.
"Inuyasha!" A feminine voice called dropping her bike, he recognized the voice to be Kagome's and opened him eyes, trying to say her name, only succeeding in coughing up blood.
"What happened?" She asked as she stared to cry. She pulled him onto the ground and put her hands onto he arrow.
Lying on the ground, Inuyasha winced as Kagome stared pulling the arrow from his flesh.
She grabbed her backpack from her bike and pulled out bandages. She wrapped his wounds and then pulled him onto the back of her bike, riding to Kiede's, (A/N: Not sure if spelled right.) not to far away.
Inuyasha had fallen asleep, leaning into Kagome. They arrived at Kiede's hut and Kagome laid Inuyasha on a mat in the middle of the small hut.
He opened his eyes and saw a pair of brown orbs, staring at him worriedly.
"Are you alright? How are you feeling? Do you feel sick?" She asked out of concern. He smiled and looked into her eyes to see worry, sadness, and pain.
She truly had cared for him; she cared for the way he was. She didn't want to change him like Kikyo did, she accepted him for how he was.
"Arigato Kagome." He said abruptly.
She looked at him shocked, Inuyasha, the great half- demon, had said 'thank you.'
She nodded and kissed him on the head. He turned onto his side and smiled, glad to have someone who really cared for him, he loved her but would wait a little while to tell her that.
