2D and Noodle were both ran over. They end up in the afterlife. Armed with Fuda scrolls they seek out to solve the mysteries the other parts of the Minstry throw at them.

Gorillaz Meet Yami no Matsuei

Chapter 1: Arrival

2D was walking through a forest of cherry trees as Noodle lay asleep on his back,her arms around his neck.

He was stunned by the beauty of the cherry blossoms falling in the breeze. "How is this possible?" he wondered.

"It's in the middle of winter, how can there be cherry blossoms?" He gave a dazed stare at the mist collecting at his feet,not realizing he had died and was in the afterlife. As he continued through the forest he came upon a beautiful white building. He ran to the steps of the building.As he reached the doors he turned the doorknob in a tentative manner not sure what lay beyond the wooden doors.

As he got inside, he noticed the red and gold carpet lining the lobby. He walked up a pair of stairs till he reached unconspicuous sign containing Japanese symbols. "Noodle!" 2D said,trying to wake her. "Huh?" she replied. "Gomen,Oneesan... It says Summons Department." "Well, that doesn't help me a smidge..."he said with a confused frown.He eased the door open and Noodle jumped off of his back.

Inside, there was a hectic office. Suddenly, a man walked up to them and said "Oh you two must be the newcomers.." he said in a mellow voice. "I am Chief Konoe, and this is the Summons Department of the Ministry of Hades!" "Hi! I'm Stu Pot (but call me 2D) and this is Noodle!" 2D replied. "Konnichiwa" Noodle said, with a big grin.

"Why am I here anyway?" 2D said confused. " You got ran over and are now in the afterlife" Chief Konoe said, an amused look on his face.

One Day Earlier, On Earth

"Man, we gotta get to to the video store Noodle!" 2D said in an impatient manner. "We gotta rent Napoleon Dynamite for the 10th time!" "Um Oneesan... why dont you just buy it?" Noodle asked. " I dont work that way." 2D replied even more impatiently this time. " OH MY GAWD NOODLE LOOK" 2D said while pointing to the quarter on the road. They both ran to it. Just as 2D bent to pick it up a speeding Winnebago ran them both over.(Haha I'ts Murdoc XD)

Back in the Afterlife

" MURDOC KILLED MEEEE! 2D screamed.
