Silent Hill: Dismember The Days

Poem 9: Mary, The Wife With A Pen

She wrote to him,

This soft wish.

She needed to,

Get this off her chest.

If day came, she'd close curtains.

If night peered, she'd reopen them.

It was sickness…

She detested going,

As she loved me.

She liked to be here,

Near the lake and the sea.

If I broke her, she'd hide the pieces.

If glue presented, she'd cure the diseases.

It was useless…

He, a pathetic shadow,

Ended my dream with a pillow.

He, a mere castaway,

Shot my loyalty out the window.

If I complied, she could make things better.

If I nurtured, she could write him a letter.

It was denounced again…

I, Silent Hill, kept Mary, the wife with a pen.

END: POEM NINE

This was a result from someone else's view because my original take on Mary was generic as well. However, giving the town's hold and evil counterpart I felt this was the best way. I like this, but I must say the next poem is by far the best I have ever written about ANY and ALL the SH characters… Maria is next…
