A little TOO real. ch2

"LOOK! He's opening the doors!" Shouted Scott to Dug.

Scott had dragged Dug to the Grand opening of RS3. Normally Dug wasn't very interested in Rune Scape, but he finally agreed to go because he wanted to check out the new portal suits. He was young for a programmer but he wanted to see if the technology could be used for any other games.

"Okay. Lets go in." Said Dug lamely.

He didn't like crowds, so the crowd of 40 or so people outside the store were annoying him.

Soon the doors were open and the crowd started to push from the doors but the employees were only letting a few in at a time. About 30 minutes later Dug and Scott were aloud in. The employee led them down a white hallway that had doors down the side every 5 feet. Then he got to the right door and opened for Dug while another employee took Scott to a different door.

Inside was a small room with a suite in the middle. There were all different kinds of cables coming off of it and connecting to the 3 walls surrounding it.

"Lets get you suited up!" said the employee.

Dug just grunted and started to get the suit on.

Soon Dug had the full Portal suit on and was ready to go. He couldn't see, hear, or feel anything from the outside world now. He made the thumbs-up sign as the employee had told him.

Suddenly all he could see was white.

"Can you see?" said a female's voice.

"Uhhh. yea?" said Dug unsure of what to do.

"Good." it paused for a second then said, "please state user-name and password."

After Dug had done as the computer had asked it said, "thank you for logging in to Rune Scape: Planes. Enjoy your stay."

Suddenly Dug was standing in the middle of a grass field that was full of people. But there was also things along the edge of his vision. He looked at them and realized that they were his stats. He reached his hand up to touch them but his hand just went through them and into his face. THAT he felt.

Dug decided to find out where he was. He looked around and realized he was at Vorrok town square. He was actually there!

Then he heard something. Dug? No, he didn't hear it, it was like he had thought it. But it wasn't his thought. Then he figured it out; It was Private chat!

Yeah? He said/thought back. Cool it works! Said Scott.
