When the parents found the balloon they began to panic. They began to search Stacy's room for her body. Stacy's mom, Shelly, was the first to look under the bed. She couldn't speak, it was to horrifying. Soon Stacy's father, Paul, looked under the bed. The sight of a real skeleton was too much for them. The small teddy bear was just one of the things that added to the effect on them.
They stared at the bones for many minutes. Finally, Stacy's Father got up and walked out of the room slowely. The next thing Shelly heard was a gun shot. She knew Paul had killed himself.
One Day Later
Billy Smith was a young boy at the age of 6. He had only a mother, for his father left his family when he was 3. He lived in a small town called Derry. While his mother was watching the news, Billy was down stairs, in the basement, in the dark.
Billy was so scared of the basement, he forgot why he was down there. He began to run up the stairs when he heard a voice. He was so scared he ran upstairs. He didn't care if was someone he knew. When he got upstairs, he heard the television. It was talking, about a family of three. Apparently the parents shot themselves and the daughter was eaten. Billy didn't pay much attention to this, but his mother did. She told Billy to stay by her until she thought it was safe. They watched the television for a while, they started watching a few comedy shows, for the news was to frightening for Billy.
Soon, Billy had to go to the bathroom. "Go ahead then," said his mother. He was washing his hands, when heard somthing ask if he wanted a balloon. "No," said Billy. He was about to walk out when the floor beneath him spread appart. He fell into a hole, and he hit his arm on something hard. He found himself in the basement. He began to cry. "Mommy!" he screamed. He screamed louder and louder, but nothing happened. He stopped yelling and tryed to get up, but he was too scared. He started to cry again. "Billy, stop crying," said a calm voice. "Huh?"said Billy. "Billy," the voice said again,"You should have taken the balloon. Do you know why?" "Why?" asked Billy in his scared voice. Then he heard a deep, scary, old sounding voice say "Because it floats!"
Then somthing ran out of the shadows and bit into his stomach. Billy couldn't even scream. A large clown began to eat him. Billy was laying on the ground, his eyes were still open. They finally closed when they were bitten out.
After about ten minutes, Billy's mother began to get worried. She opened up the bathroom door to find a real bloody heart on the floor. She knew it was the heart of her son. She screamed in fear and sadness; it was the loudest scream she had ever screamed.
