Loveless: loneliness

disclaimer: do not owe Loveless!

notes: kinda sappy or sad, but here it is...

Ritsuka sighed at the sight as he watched two police cops take his mother away, the neighbors had heard the noise from outside the house and called the cops concern what's going on inside. "Excuse me?" A voice asked as Ritsuka looked and saw a police officer talking to him, "do you have somewhere else to stay for the night? If not, we have to put you in an orphanage," he said.

"Can I stay with a friend tonight?" Ritsuka asked as the officer nodded, "he may also take care of you. Considering how old he is though," he said as Ritsuka nodded. "His twenty-five," he said slowly, "all right. I'll drive you over at his place then," the officer said as Ritsuka smiled and he followed the cop to his car.

He sat in the back as he stared out the window, "say kid, where's your father?" The officer asked. "He died awhile ago," Ritsuka said, "oh. I'm sorry," the officer said quietly as Ritsuka didn't said anything after that. The car stopped suddenly as Ritsuka looked and saw that they were in front of Soubi's apartment, "if you need anything, you can call the station," the officer said as Ritsuka nodded as he went out.

Ritsuka looked up at the building thinking how Soubi would react, he shook his head as he went inside the elevator and pushed the button to go to Soubi's floor. He began to cry softly as he knocked on the door, "Ritsuka? I wasn't expecting you here today," Soubi said as he looked at the boy in front of him.

"Soubi..." Ritsuka began as he looked at him, Soubi stared at him a little bit shocked as he was crying. "Something happened?" Soubi asked as Ritsuka went to go and hugged him as he cried, Soubi soothingly moved his finger up and down Ritsuka's back as he tried to comfort him.

Soubi bent down as he carried Ritsuka on both of his arms, "hey! I can walk you know!" Ritsuka snapped as he wiped the tears out off his eyes. Soubi chuckled, he put Ritsuka down on the couch as he sat next to him. To his surprise, Ritsuka layed his head down on his lap, not saying anything.

"Ritsuka, something happened today that I'm unaware of," Soubi said, "my mother," Ritsuka began. "Did she abuse you again?" Soubi asked angrily, "no. The police took her away," Ritsuka said slowly. "That's wonderful! You could..." Soubi began but then stopped knowing full well that Ritsuka can't stay by himself, "I'm so alone now. Nobody's going to be in the house now," he said.

"Ritsuka?" Soubi asked, "they are going to take the house away. All my memories with Seimei and my mother are there," Ritsuka said as he felt that he was crying once again. "What would you say if I'm your legal guardian? Like a father to you and I can stay at your home," Soubi said, "then we can't fall in love with each other. If you'll be like a father to me," Ritsuka said softly.

Soubi sighed as he looked at him, "nobody has to know that loveless. They wouldn't dare say anything about us," Soubi said as Ritsuka looked at him. Soubi smiled as he leaned forward to kiss Ritsuka on the lips passionately, Ritsuka moaned as he was now feeling relaxed against Soubi's kiss.

Soubi smiled as he broke it off, "let's finish this in the room, shall we?" He asked as Ritsuka blushed as he got up and followed Soubi to the room.
