Author's Notes-

As you might have guessed…I don't own Jak, Daxter, Keira, or the game they come from. If I did own them (which I don't) Jak would be on an extremely short leash…

Well, I know you probably hear this a lot but, this is my first fic so please don't be too cruel… -

Jak and Daxter were relaxing in the sunshine. They decided to take a break from their latest 'adventure'. Wow, so relaxed…Jak couldn't remember the last time he just got to lay in the grass without a worry on his mind. Daxter, of course, hadn't settled down, he was scurrying all over the place looking for any fun to be had. Normally, Jak would have been annoyed but he had more than Daxter's antics on his thoughts…I wonder what she is doing right now. I wonder who…err…what she's thinking about…

"What ya thinking about, Jakie boy?"

"….." Jak's eyes were slightly glazed as he starred into nothingness. Though Daxter was agitating, he wasn't clueless, all the time.

"Well I'm sure it has nothing to do with anyone." Jak held his silence…" You wouldn't be thinking of Keira would you?" Jak's eyes widened as he looked at his furry little friend. Though startled, he didn't seem upset with the accusation. "Ha, ha! I thought that might get your attention. Soooo…."

Jak sat up" I-I .." Daxter's ears began twitching at the sound of footsteps.

"Hey guys!" A young woman appeared. She made her way over and stood beside Jak and Daxter. She was smiling for no apparent reason. Jak looked away from her and began inspecting a blade of grass. Daxter took a hint.

"Well, I guess I'll leave you two kids alone." He then ran back down the hill towards town. While at full speed, he tripped and basically rolled and tumbled the rest of the way.

" So……what ya doing up here?" She took a seat beside him.

Wow, I wonder what she wants…What should I talk about…What can I say…Don't be stupid Jak!

"Jak?"

"Oh…uh…nothing really, just thinking."

"Bout what?" he looked down. He could already feel his cheeks turning pink. He couldn't let her see but she took note of it none the less. "Well, I guess you would have a lot on your mind… Even I've had stuff to think about lately." Jak turned to see her eyes of emerald looking off into the sky.

"What's on your mind?" Jak asked hopefully. Hopeful for what?…he wasn't sure.

"Oh, nothing you need to worry yourself about. I had a really weird dream last night." She could feel Jak's intense stare trying to read her thoughts." It was about a friend… and yet , at the same time, he was… more…"

Oh boy… could she be talking about me? What could have happened in her dream? Keira was stumbling over her words, her face turning more ruby with every passing second. It's now or never…well not really…but it needs to be now! The blonde moved over to her and let his hand fell on top of hers. She quickly turned toward Jak to find him much closer than she had expected. She was in awe at the rich blue color of his eyes.

"Jak?" Keira noticed that, instead of removing his hand, his grip on her hand tightened. She felt her cheeks burning, and also noticed his face glowing as well." Jak… I-I wanted to te-" The movement of her lips was brought to a quick halt by the pressure of his. She was shocked, to say the least, then he deepened the kiss with all the passion he had within him and she melted. Desperate for that moment, that kiss, never to end, they reluctantly parted.

It finally happened! She kissed me back! Jak was beaming. Keira was still slightly in shock.

"D-did that actually happen?" They locked eyes. "I hope I wasn't dreaming this time…"

Like I said at the beginning, this is my first so any reviews would be helpful. I know someone out there has advice to give!

Daxter: That tumble down the hill really hurt! But dose anyone care? No! Heaven forbid someone cares about Daxter! Why would…… Are you even listening?
