Crimson tears
I couldn't help
I just sat there
Watched them die
I wanted to cry
But you fell from the sky
I don't know why
Why I didn't cry
Then he came
You reached for his hand
Then he faded to black…
Like a starless night with out a fight
I saw them come
They wanted blood
My blood though
But all I could think about was
That shining light…
Your shining light
I hoped I'd never lose sight
Oh why did they have to die
Did they die?
Why didn't I stay where I could see the light?
Am I meant to live here?
With my fears never to see your light appear
So that is why I cry these crimson tears
I hope someday we can go there
To the land with no tears
But most of all no frightful fears
For you are my light
And without your shining light
To chase away the shadows of my dreams
I will always live in fear…
