The following poem was an extra credit assignment for a freshman English course at The George Washington University based on exploring fanfiction communities. It is supposed to reflect the same style and format of e.e. cumming's poem "she being Brand;" therefore, the spacing, spelling, grammar, et cetera are intentional.
The poem deviates from the real storyline of Final Fantasy VII to make it easier for anyone to understand (most members of my class never played the game). It talks about Aeris and Cloud as they journey into the Temple of the Ancients and how this was the last moment they had together. I know the other characters are left out, and the plot did not follow this exact course, but my classmates enjoyed it and I hope you do.
Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to Final Fantasy VII or Square-Enix. This is completely a work of fanfiction for all to enjoy.
