My Love

My world is one free of danger
or it was… until darkness found a way to penetrate it
and, essentially, take it over.
But they say where there is great darkness there is great light
and I have found that to be true because
as soon as that darkness took over
I discovered light in a new friend named Jeremy Belpois.
Jeremy is what many would refer to as a nerd…
whatever that means; he's very intelligent and very caring.
I know that he hasn't seen much love from girls…
He'd be the first to tell you that his classmates consider him a nerd,
but I don't see him the way they do.
What they see is just a smart person, who is distant and silent,
I see someone who is full of life and personality, and is warm to those he treasures…
I hear that he treasures me… but I haven't really seen it in him, but
then again, he's so nervous around me it's hard for me to tell how he feels about me.
I care about him a lot; my life is incomplete without him in it… I guess
that is what love is… that need to have a certain someone in your life.
I look into Jeremy's eyes and I long to feel his touch
and I know that soon I will be free
to feel his touch, and his love.
But, until then I will be ever dreaming of that one gentle kiss that will lead me
into his loving embrace and give me the chance to have him as mine, and to be his,
and to let our hearts bond as one
forevermore.
