The young CSI Ryan Wolfe walked into the crime scene with his kit and his current girlfriend. "Hey H. What we got?" Ryan asked kneeling beside the dead body. Horatio looked at Ryan and then at his girlfriend and shook his head.
"What we have Ryan, is a slaughter. Calleigh and Eric are with the other bodies." Horatio explained. He looked over at Ryan's girlfriend. "Who's that?" He added.
"Alexa Stefison." Ryan said. He looked over at Alexa and gave her a sweet smile. "Computer geek and CSI wannabe." He looked back over at the body. "How many more?"
Horatio looked over where the other two CSI were. "At least 8. It looks like this young lady here ran away from the main area before bleeding out. She was shot but, we have to wait until Alexx can determine the true cause." Horatio stood back up and left Ryan alone to search the crime scene. Ryan also stood up and motioned Alexa over. She came over and looked at the body.
"Young, taken way too early. With the grass it will be harder to tell how much she bled out and if she was killed over with the others or ran before she was shot. But, if you wait until dark and use uvu lights you should be able to tell the blood trails... if there were any." Alexa explained with a tint of anger. Ryan was always amazed with Alexa's vast knowledge and sometimes he thought that she should try to be on the team.
Ryan thought for a moment before speaking, "I think that you might be an asset to this case. You have an extreme knowledge of outdoor murders and what to do. Come with me and I will introduce you to the team." Alexa nodded in agreement and followed Ryan over to the others. "Guys this is Alexa." Ryan said as they approached the others. Eric gave a surprised/jealous look but quickly semi-forced a smile. Eric and Calleigh introduced themselves. Alexa chatted with them a bit before turned towards Horatio.
"And you are?" she said with a smile. Eric and Calleigh went back to work and left the others to talk.
"Horatio Caine. Nice to meet you Alexa." He then turned to Ryan. "Why did you bring here? You know you're not supposed to bring miscellaneous people this side of the tape... even if the person does want to be a CSI."
Ryan sighed. "That's what I wanted to talk to you about. Alexa has some info that might help. I think that she would be good help, for at the least this case." He looked at Alexa. "Could you tell him what you have found?" Alexa nodded and started to explain.
"Where the bullet went in and where she was, she had to have been shot either over with the others or shot by someone in a building. I couldn't tell you which until night though."
Horatio looked at Alexa and thought about what to do.
"Okay this case you can help. If you impress me enough with your skills and not just your knowledge I may consider having you join the team. I have a feeling that you will fit in." Horatio said before heading back to work. Ryan and Alexa then too also went to work.
