In pain, he dreams of death.
Her fate, her life is in his hands, and he doesn't want her to fall the same way she did. Not on his hands again.
But there she sits, concerned frown as she feels his forehead, tries to check his injuries, reaches for the fateful clock. He stops her with a gentle hand.
"No," he mouths.
"But you're wounded," she retorts.
"I'll heal."
Brow crinkles into a scowl. Not the right answer.
"If you're worrying about my life, don't."
She releases the clock, he heals, she's exhausted. He realizes – their souls are bound together.
