Comrade
Naruto
by D. Reed

It's one thing when he insults his friend for his eating habits. It's another when someone else insults his friend.

Unfortunately, he's just too damn lazy to do much about something so troublesome.

Instead, he chooses to strategize. Bully arrives, he starts herding Chouji out the back. If Chouji refuses, he hides Chouji under the table until the bully passes, hopefully leaves. Any questions asked, he'll deflect them elsewhere, pretend Chouji isn't there. He's smarter than the bully and will outwit him, if push comes to shove.

No fighting.

But secretly, he'd do anything for his friend, teammate, comrade. Anything.
