Looking out at night
I wonder what would have been
What would've happened
If I'd surrendered to that sin
If I hadn't given up my naivety
And saw the truth behind his false proclamations
If I'd let myself be happy
And let myself stay surrounded by the illusions
Would anyone have been hurt
If I had made the other choice?
Would it have been so bad
If I had given in to his voice?
I just can't help wondering
Was he really my foe?
But it's too late now…
So I guess I'll never know.
