It was so obvious that that blonde haired girl would steal his heart. She knew it. She just knew it.
Yamanaka Ino was indeed beautiful; even she had to admit that. Her beautiful hair and her equally beautiful eyes. Ino would steal his heart.
Ino was born in the same year as Shikamaru, while Temari was born three years earlier. She also heard from him that his mother was bossy, and Ino resembled his mother in everyway, while he resembled his father.
A match-made in heaven, Temari had said to herself. Ino would steal his heart.
Ino and Shikamaru both lived in the Leaf. She lived in the Sand. They only saw each other one a month, if she was lucky. Ino would steal his heart during her absence.
It was a known fact. Ino and Shikamaru. Shikamaru and Ino. Opposites in everyway. Clearly a match-made in heaven, she had said to herself once more.
Match made in heaven.
She knows. She knows that she has lost.
So, why was he kissing her for all that he was worth right now? Temari doesn't know the answer, but knows this now:
Ino would have stolen his heart.
The only problem was, his heart was already stolen.
