November 28, 2005 -- Hotaru -- Characters (C) CLAMP -- One shot x8.
Yeah, it's been awhile.
And this is kind of plotless.
Amongst the blossomed cherry trees lay a single girl, lying asleep. From the distance he was seeing her at, she looked fragile and mildly helpless, if not beautiful.
Her auburn hair may have at one time been piled modestly on top of her head, but now, it lay embedded in among the furious petals, dancing slightly between gasps of wind.
Under the moon, her pale white dress shone like none other then a brilliant star, ending half way down her flawless legs.
Her cheeks had been tinted by the lightest of pink, almost as if someone had placed makeup on her and rubbed it off, which suited him, because now she held an adorable, pure look on her delicate features.
Her chest was rising with each breath she took, and once or twice, let out an absent yawn or hiccup.
As if sensing him, she opened one eye, fluttering rapidly, then rubbed it with one small hand, presenting mint colored orbs searching curiously for the earthen amber eyes she had spotted watching her.
"Sy-Syaoran-kun?"
The dream ended like all of the ones before it, Syaoran letting out a solemn groan of realization, rubbing the back of his neck before peering at the cheerful sky, in which at the moment he would rather of been anywhere then on the ground.
Further searching confirmed he was laying in the same spot as he had slept in, that the fire was almost out, and everyone – including Sakura, the girl he had been dreaming of, his Princess – was still asleep, which was uncommon, seeing are Fye usually got up early to cook breakfast.
Mokona and Kurogane had curled up comfortably, with Kurogane, the master ninja, snoring with an uncharacteristic content ness, preferably because Fye was resting against his back.
Princess Sakura was wedged in between Fye and himself, and he smiled thus sensing her presence, absently brushing a bang from her face.
Her unconscious figure let out a little sigh, pressing herself against his hand before falling still.
And he swore to himself that he would find the end to his dream.
