3rd Season. Nathan still doesn't trust Haley… That's all you really need to know.

Nathan walked down the hall of Tree Hill High, sighing sadly as he saw Haley opening her locker that was two lockers away from his. He walked over to his locker and greeted her with a small smile.

"Hey Haley… Is the tutoring still on, after history?" Nathan asked.

"Yeah…" Haley said popping open her locker.

"So.. How are you?" Nathan asked trying to make conversation with his wife.

"You don't have to make small talk with me Nathan. But I'm not that good, but Hey! What else is new right?" Haley exclaimed grabbing her history book.

"What do you mean? Why what happened?" Nathan asked grabbing his history book as well. Haley shut her locker and gave him a 'Don't-play-dumb-you-know-why' look, and walked away. Nathan shook his head. He knew why, he didn't even know why he bothered asking. Nathan wished things would go back to normal. He wished that he could trust her again, he wished that he could run up to her right now and hold her in his arms forever.

But things weren't that easy

Haley shook her head 'Why did I just walk away like that? STUPID move Haley! You want him to trust you again, not hate you some more!' Haley thought. 'I'll go back there and apologize' Haley started walking toward Nathan when her heard her so called 'name' She stopped and hid in the bathroom. 'Yes, listening to Nathan's conversations will make him trust me again!' She thought. But she listened anyway.

"So Hows Tutor-Whore" Tim asked Nathan paused in his steps. "Haley is not that great right now, Not that its any of your business. And If you call her that ONE more time, I will beat you down so fast that-"

"Dude Sorry, Chill, It was just a joke."

"Yeah well cut the shit"

"Sorry…" Tim paused. "So about the burning boat thing, what are you throwing in?"

"Nothing"

"I think you should throw in tutor-girl"

Nathan couldn't believe how thick his friend was, He took a deep breath and agreed with Tim just to get him to stop.

Haley couldn't believe it! Nathan wanted her to burn? How could he! She tried to apologize about everything like a trillion times. Haleys eyes started to get watery and she slowly walked to history.

"How long has she been there?" Nathan asked Tim.

"I dunno…." Nathan cursed himself for having such a stupid best friend.

"Haley!" He called after her. Haley walked faster. Nathan shook his head as he watched her turn the corner. He hated it when she cried, especially when he was the one making her cry. It ruined her perfectly circled brown eyes.

Nathan sighed 'God Man, Just forgive and forget'
