Notes: This was a story that I wrote a while back and posted on the Farscape Kansas forum. I ran across it again and decided to post it here. I hope that you enjoy.

Aeryn spotted the person from down the street. Even from this distance, her revulsion boiled up from her stomach. This person who had cost her so much. This person who had caused her so much pain. Aeryn knew that it was time the person be brought to justice.

Aeryn excused herself from her comrades with the promise to meet in half an arn at the contact point and made her way to the shop her target had entered.

Aeryn entered the store and saw her target speaking with the only other person in the place. As she approached she reached for her pulse pistol and listened to what she could hear.

"Listen! I've got a weapon the Plokavians would love. I've seen it destroy a Scarran Dreadnaught with one blast."

"Yeah right," the shop owner answered as he noticed Aeryn's approach and the pulse pistol.

Aeryn's target noticed the shop owner's nervous glance behind her and tensed.

Aeryn knew that it was time to act. "I would suggest you leave now unless you want to die," she said with a motion to the shop owner.

The shop owner fled out a back door. Apparently he wanted nothing to do with the Peacekeepers.

"Hello, Aeryn," the target said as she turned around.

"Hello, Furlow," Aeryn said coldly.

"How's Johnny-boy?"

"Dead," Aeryn said with a sort of detachment. "He died of radiation sickness on Dam-Ba-Da."

"Oh!" Furlows face fell slightly. "How are you?"

Aeryn snapped her pulse pistol up and fired in one smooth motion. Her shot caught Furlow squarely between the eyes and threw her lifeless corpse back into the counter where it rebounded forward onto the floor.

"Better now," Aeryn replied as she holstered her gun and walked out of the shop.

Aeryn walked down the street in thought. She felt that she could finally let John's ghost rest. She had finally found justice for him and with that feeling came a memory, a memory of a passionate and pained plea not to leave, a memory of a second chance with the man that she loved, a chance that she had thrown away in her blindness. Thoughts of the pain that she had caused John echoed in her mind's eye, and she wondered if she hadn't ruined it all.

Then she thought of his infallible love for her. She thought of his nearly limitless penchant for forgiveness. She thought of a future that was worth fighting for. She thought of her need to exact a little justice from herself. She would just have to ask forgiveness and reprove her love, no matter what the cost.

She entered the bar where they were to meet the contact and decided that her mission to Hokothia would be her last. After that her future was with a man waiting for her on Moya, a man that she had a lot to make up to. For the first time in nearly a cycle, Aeryn smiled at thoughts of the future, and what John thought of as a good way to make up.

Notes: This was a piece that I had to write after reading a second fanfiction in which Furlow made life miserable for our favorite couple. It also made me think of what might have caused Aeryn to change her attitude so much when she returned. This was written in less than an hour and posted without beta reading. So any errors are mine alone.
