Hello, My name, well, at least here, is SWEUFan2007. It used to be Magneto11, but I felt that the first username didn’t convey my deep love of the Star Wars Expanded Universe, so I changed it on August 7, 2018. Here are a few things about myself that I think that you should know: I am 27 years old, I love the Star Wars Expanded Universe (as you might have guessed if you've read my stories), The Lord of the Rings, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Witcher, old anime shows like Yu-Gi-Oh, DragonBall Z, Naruto: Shippuden, Megaman, and so on. Anyway, I am a Christian of the Roman Catholic faith, but I respect the beliefs of other faiths, as long as you believe in human rights, of course. Anyway, speaking of human rights, I am gravely concerned about the rights of humans all across the globe, ranging from my home country, the United States, to Europe, China, North Korea, Russia and Ukraine, and last, but certainly not least, the Middle East (hey, that last one rhymed).

Well, now that the formal introductions are out of the way, I'd like to get down to the depths of my soul. You see, I have been noticing a trend in modern entertainment in the (to put it bluntly) abandonment of God's principles and morals, as many comic book companies (Marvel and DC Comics), TV Series and Networks (Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, and Disney), and novels (Many of the new canon Star Wars novels), are including certain elements that God and his established laws do not approve of. Now, don't get me wrong, I know that we are far from perfect, and that everyone has a different opinion about something. I even have a few friends that do not share my choice in religion on and out of this site, and we get along well. It just makes me so angry to see the law, morals, and sense of decency and tolerance that I hold so dear being forsaken by so many people, as without them, where does that leave the world, as we've seen what happens without God in countries and people throughout all of history.

In addition, I feel that I should let it be known that I am a staunch Constitutionalist Republican, as I believe in the freedoms that our Founding Fathers drafted down in the Constitution, and do not approve of the very radical changes to the law that many people on both political sides are advocating. Now, don't get me wrong, while I respect Donald Trump very much, I have at least a few doubts about him due to a few of his choices (Charlottesville, Va., and Hurricane Maria, being prime examples), as well as his pride and ego often leading him into sticky situations on Twitter, I like to believe that he has the United States' best interests in heart, as I would trust him over Joe Biden and many affiliated prominent leaders any day, especially due to their very shady record. Also, I am able to make friends with people of different beliefs, both politically, and religiously, as I have friends and family members that have different sets of beliefs than me, as long as you respect the right for me to hold to my values.

Finally, I have a deep anger, disgust, and loathing within me over the changes that are being done to Star Wars, as I greatly cherished the Original Expanded Universe very much, as it helped me cope with the loss of my grandparents on my mother's side, as well as my challenges in life. Now, don't get me wrong, I can put up with a portion of the New Canon, as it is entertaining, it doesn't conflict with my moral values, and because I can integrate some of it into the Original EU. And some of the story arcs are compelling as individual arcs, and can help inspire me to better my own works in small or big ways. What I can't stand is the near-entire cancellation of the Original Franchise that I grew up with since 2007, and it being replaced by what I consider it to be a pale imitation, as it dishonors the hard work and effort that so many people have put into creating the Old EU.

If the people that are in charge of Star Wars, such as Bob Iger, Kathleen Kennedy and Pablo Hidalgo, decided to continue the Old EU in a lesser capacity than it used to come out, but greater than the virtually non-existent material, then I would be pleased. Now, I'm not unreasonable here, as I understand that the New Canon can't be cancelled, but are three novels and a handful of mini-series of comic books set in the Old EU too much to ask for in each year, because I don't think so, and I know that many people feel the same way as I do. Well, I guess that that's it for this profile. May the Lord be with you all in these troubled times, and Long Live the Expanded Universe!

(October 3, 2020 Addendum) Hey, everyone. I hope you all are doing well tonight. I'm doing well, as I'm working hard on my Jedi Odyssey Rewrite Trilogy. I look forward to writing more on this amazing saga. However, I recently realized that I ought to balance my Rewrite with my obligations to my friends in the Galaxy at War mini-saga, so I'll try to alternate arcs or a few chapters in my writing. And with school in full swing, and work fast approaching for me to return to, I'll be very busy. Just thought I'd let you know.

One last thing, I know that we all have different beliefs and opinions in the world and people, but I would like to take a moment to implore everyone to treat everyone with respect and dignity, because I'm sure that most people would like to be treated as a decent human being. And I pray that, when everyone is faced with a difficult choice in life, that they would choose the path that would lead them into Jesus Christ's loving arms. It may sound too strong for some people, but I feel it needs to be said in these hard and trying times. God be with us all.

(May 5, 2021 Addendum) Hey, everyone. How are you all doing midway through this tumultuous year? We've had a lot of insanity over the last year. COVID-19, politics, lack of reason on an international scale, and utter pandemonium. Things are really getting insane. And the 2020 Election, its subsequent turmoil, and Biden's policies haven't helped things. Let me tell you, too many things don't add up to my liking about it all. And in my honest but respectful opinion, the people in charge should have investigated the discrepancies within the election for a variety of reasons. Not merely for partisan lines, but to ensure the integrity of the election, and to put the matter to rest once and for all who should have been the current President of the United States by shutting up radicals and fanatics on both sides. Now, while I acknowledge that former President Trump had many, many character faults and made his fair share of mistakes and blunders, I supported him, not merely as the Constitution demands, but because I believed he would be the better man, then and now, to uphold the values of the United States and promote freedom across the world, as he was fed up by us being taken advantage of and manipulated by people, groups, and nations that should not have held so much power. Or any power, if one thinks about it from a certain point of view. Now, I'm not unreasonable here. If you can find a better leader of character, grit, and honor to lead the United States that will uphold our founding values and respect the sanctity of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, then I'd be more than willing to at least give them a shot. Until then, I'm sticking by Trump and my beliefs.

And on another note, I have been saddened by the declining state of Star Wars, as most of its material has been increasingly full of political madness, social trends, and unbiblical falsehoods that have my blood boiling, my heart heavy, and my soul sad. I know many others feel the same way, so at least it gives me comfort that I'm not alone in these dark times. In fact, things have gotten so bad for the franchise that I have decided that, after I buy two more pieces of at least decent Star Wars literature, I am ending my purchases in the franchise until they revive the Expanded Universe, which should never have been discontinued in the first place. I'm not even planning to watch The Bad Batch, as I'm so angry with Disney and Lucasfilm, and I'm afraid of what they'll do with it. But, I shall continue to write my Jedi Odyssey Rewrite saga, as I will finish this great work. And I'll get back to writing Galaxy at War soon. I just need to finish my finals for the Spring 2021 semester, and find my rhythm for the mini-saga while balancing the rewrite. Until then, May God be with us all in these difficult times.
