Summary: Wilson muses over his love for House. Set after "Autopsy".
A/N: A drabble inspired by the Backstreet Boy's song "Incomplete." A sequel to Here's to the Night is coming soon; but first I had to get this idea out of my head. Anyway, please read and review.
"I try to go on like I never knew you. I'm awake but my world is half asleep. I pray for this heart to be unbroken, but without you all I'm going to be is incomplete." – The Backstreet Boys, Incomplete.
"She enjoys life more than you do." "She stole that kiss from Chase, what have you done lately?" "She could out live you." His own words echoed through his mind and even though he knew full well that they were true, he wished that they were not.
James Wilson stood on the office balcony that he shared with Gregory House, the man he loved above all else. This love, although often suppressed in the presence of the other man, was not entirely unknown.
Greg was never one for love, not even before the infarction; Wilson had known this, but still he let himself fall for that man. The only thing that James didn't know was that House was unwilling to recuperate that feeling of affection.
As the light wind softly caressed his face, like the hand of a lover he wished he had, Wilson wondered where did this leave him?
With the feeling of incompleteness.
