This is my take on the 7th book, of course anything that J.K.Rowling came up with doesn't belong to me, I wish it did, but all new character/s are mine.
Harry Potter and The Coming
Chapter 1
It was a late Junes evening as a young adult, or of-age, woman walked towards a telephone booth on a seemingly random street. Her dyed red hair was up in a high ponytail, her cloudy blue eyes danced around watching for any sign of movement and all the while she mumbled incoherent words as if casting a spell or ward of some sort. She was an averaged height woman, with moderate curves on her body that was lithe and very light. It was if she danced toward the booth instead of the normal heavy-footed walk. She wasn't a beautiful girl- just pretty. What made her stand out though were the clothes or rather robes she wore. Her black side of the cloak (the other side being a green that could be mistaken for grass or tree bushes) billowed out behind her revealing the blue and yellow robes underneath. She reached the booth and immediately pressed a few numbers. A second later she had vanished beneath the phone booth itself. A person watching could have sworn a voice from within the booth had said "Welcome to the Ministry for Magic Auror Lillian", but then again no one was around to see her sink beneath the earth.
Harry Potter sat morbidly on a train that was heading to Surry, the black messy hair of his covering his lightning bolt shaped scar and his troubled eyes as he contemplated what R.A.B could stand for? It had been 2 days since Dumbledore's funeral and he had finally convinced Ron and Hermione to go home to their families as that was the best they could do for the moment until Harry himself turned 17, of-age. When they had got back to the station Harry had been informed of Dumbledore's will reading date, in 3 days and at Gringotts, and had felt the unwillingness to leave him by himself by his friends, as his 'family' still had not arrived to pick him up. Eventually they could not come up with any other excuses to hang around and so left group by group until it was just Harry and his invisible 'watcher'. It seemed that the Order of Phoenix was still running under Remus's command. Harry's 'family' never turned up though and so he decided to make his own way home. He had called out to no one in particular his intentions and caught another train that had been heading towards Surry. Of course he didn't pay though as he had no muggle money.
Coming back to reality he startled a little when he realised that a ticket checker was asking for his ticket. He sighed in frustration and relaxed his grip on his wand a little. He was about to say he didn't have a ticked when someone called out and he raised his head a little.
"Jonathan, here's your ticket. Sorry Sir I was holding his ticket so he could keep an eye on his luggage." A violet haired Tonks said as she sat beside Harry (Jonathan) and handed two tickets to the conductor.
"S'lright, just as long as the lad had one." The conductor smiled and moved off. Harry rolled his eyes and Tonks smiled.
"Nice save." Harry commented.
"I know." Tonks said with pride.
"Jonathan?" He questioned.
"I know" she grimaced, "It was all I could think of".
They sat in silence the rest of the ride and once off Tonks shrunk his luggage and 'disappeared' again. Once Harry reached 'home', he called out thanks and went inside. He ignored the protests his uncle made and made his way up to his room. Putting his things down he plopped onto bed, fell swiftly asleep, his glasses still on his face, and was still in the same position when his Aunt attempted to wake him the next day.
A short piece but it is just an appetiser, so please Review!
