Glorious
mornings that my eyes beheld
The sun's golden rays caressing my
skin
The sweet song of the morning birds,
Coming in through my
window as I wake.
The
green and greener pastures on the field
The brilliant ice-peaked
mountains I do see
To hear the tempestuous waters of the sea,
Or
yet, to drink the sprinkly water of a lake.
I
think of all this beauty and I weep
I know I shall give up all
these joys and treats
If I'm to become but one with you
tonight
The gray shadow of Death surrounding me.
All
children of this world shall have an end
Sadly, the dust of their
bones cover the earth
But I know for you love me, I will be
