The Sunlight Fades
-
The sunlight slowly fades away
As darkness falls in, turning the sky to gray
Heavy drops of rainfall
And a black crow begins to call
All are gathered around the rectangle chest
Covering with red roses and praying for it to be blessed
As I glance from one to the other
I realize that you were more then a father
A friend to some
But to many more
Tears of sadness are all around
Wondering how you finally went down
That is the path that you chose
Your fate is six feet under
Leaving everyone in a world of wonder
