Disclaimer: Obviously I'm not J.K. Rowling, so I don't own Harry Potter, I just like to play a bit with the characters.

Losses and gains

I lost my love on a day like this

the trees covered in frost,

and a bitter wind roaming

the countryside.

On a day like this I learned

that love is pain

I gained myself on a day like this

so lonely, I grieved.

The coldness had a

tight hold on my heart.

I learned that true hate

breeds true love

For he taught me

that true passion, true fire

burns within me.

Love and hate, two bipolars

two extremes

in losing him, I learned to love

I really hope you like the poem, and I'd appreciate it if you could give me any constructive criticism.
