Author's Note: this is my first Fan Fiction. So go easy on me please. Oh, also the things in italics are Al's thoughts.
Disclaimer: I have never and will never own Fullmetal Alchemist.
I can't believe that we're actually doing this. I have be having the worse combination of thoughts you can have.
I was kneeling on the ground looking at Ed, my mind was racing. What if this works? What if it doesn't? That's what really got me. I was really scared, anxious, and nervous about it. Our teacher always told us never to do human transmutations but Ed already has his mind set. He is going to do this whether I help or not. I f he was going to go through with it then I will too.
He looks o happy. It feels like a dream that I can't wake up from. I'm just…worried what going to happen.
"You ready?" My brother asked.
No, but I'm not going tot tell you that. We'll go through with this to the end.
I nodded, even, though I felt like my insides were trying to tell me otherwise. Both of us put our hands on the transmutation circle with what we hoped would be our mother.
A small wind started near the big bowl in the middle of father's alchemy room. I looked over at Ed, he was beaming. I didn't realize it but, all of the test tubes and suits of armor were all engulfed in a dark light.
Something doesn't seem right. Huh, there's something on my shoulder. It feels like a fly. Oh, well that's not important right now. Strange…I swatted it away and it didn't go away.
"Brother? Something isn't right." I said in a shaky voice. That's when I felt something grabbing my arms and legs. "Ed!"
He looked over and his eyes wider, he said, "Al!" He tried to reach for me but something stopped him. He turned around and I did also, searching for what he looking for, and that's when I saw it. The same 'things' were attached to his left leg as well.
What are these things? Maybe they're… no I don't want to think that we failed to bring her back. They feel almost like little hands.
More and more were attaching themselves to my body, until I started getting pulled back. Ed was too preoccupied with his leg. I had to get his attention, so I screamed,
"Ed!"
He looked, forgetting his leg and reached out for my hand. I tried to grab for it, but I was getting pulled away too quickly. I couldn't see where they were taking me because the creatures were keeping me from moving my head too much.
"Al!" Ed yelled still trying to grab my hand.
"Brother!" I screamed before everything went black.
Author's Note: Did you like it? I really hoped you liked it because if you did that's great. Even if you didn't then that's ok too. But please review so that I know how to improve. Thanks.
