A/N: people who don't kno who Signo is, need to read my other stories or you won't get this at all. It's when Espio's 14, and the "couple" first meet. Rather fluffy, so be warned.

Entry #1

Today Chaotix got called out by these weird guys who had just arrived on Mobius, they were called 'The Chaos Fleet' I think. Anyway this was my first proper job since my 14th birthday, earlier this year so I was pretty excited about it to be honest.

The guys seemed OK, they were led by a guy called Vain the cat, an Accapatarian from Mimica I think it was. I wasn't really paying attention to what he was talking about, I was rather intrigued by his best friend. I'd never really got to talk to her, but I hope I will soon. She seems really nice. Kinda cute actually. She's called Signo and she's a hedgehog.

She's 12, so only 2 years younger than me, and she wears a red t-shirt and a medium length skirt and trainers. She was trained as a ninja, like me really. But the legendary Phantom teacher trained her, and I wish he taught me so…

Anyway, why I am so obsessed with this girl, I mean, I'm 14! I have my whole life ahead of me! I don't need any girl! Besides, she and I both know that ninja's are not allowed to love.

Besides, I don't love her; I don't even know her; and she doesn't know me. It's weird, I just found myself looking at her and smiling and I could never figure out why. Everytime I turned my head away, a few minutes later I'd be back staring at her again.

Anyway, back to the job on hand. We, Chaotix Detective Agency; the guys from Mimica and Signo (did I mention she's kinda cute?) have to track down this maniac named Dr. Tomatohead, and his minions and defeat them. We have also been informed of a new threat, an enemy named Pogrom Conceal. Don't ask me. I wasn't listening all that well, I was watching Signo. I would have gone over to her and talked, you know, for business; but I doubt she'd want to talk to me and I had to support Vector who has been my friend for life.

Anyway, just after we were leaving the meeting point and going our separate ways; she turned and looked at me, grinned and winked. At first I looked behind me, to see who she was signalling to; but then I realised it was me. She giggled as I turned back around and I grinned back at her. I winked at her too, so I guess we'll end up being friends, nothing more though. Shame.

Wait, what am I saying! We can't be anything more, it's not allowed, and besides, I don't want it to be anything more; I don't like her, it's all in my head and I feel so mixed up. I best ask Vector about it. Or maybe I could give Knux a ring; he should know how I could get to go out with her…NO! I mean, how I can stop liking her… NO! I mean how I can sort my head out and what this thing is I'm feeling towards her.
