Summary: After Voldemort directed the Killing Course at Harry, he didn't die, but he went into coma. His parents survived the attack, but couldn't help their son. He didn't wake up for 16 years, but as his 17th birthday is coming strange things start to happen by the bed of the sleeping hero...

James Potter was playing with his one-year old son. Sometimes he shot glances at his wife who was sitting by the fireplace, and was reading a book about protective blood magic. She didn't really trust Peter, thought he always told her that he would never betray them.
He was throwing Harry into the air, and his little son was laughing so happily. Suddenly the sound of the sound of crackling leaves could be heard. And their door was blowed away from its place.
Peter betrayed them.
"Lily, take Harry and go! It's him! Go! Run! I'll hold him off"
Lily took Harry and run upstairs, she knew that Peter would betray them. She knew that her husband can't hold Voldemort too long off, she had to be fast. But she did know what to do.
She was saying the pray the 6th time in her head when Voldemort breaked into Harry's room , just one more time and Harry will be safe.Voldemort went straight to Harry.
"No! NO! Not him… Not Harry…" quickly, she poised herself between the wand and her child.
"Move aside mudblood, and you can live as your husband."
"No… Take me… take me instead. Not Harry!"- and with that she said it for the 7th time. And now the only thing left was to die, and her little son would be safe.
"I have no time for this...Stupefy!-" As Lilly went unconcisious her last thought was-Oh no, he is not killing me... It won't work... Oh myHarry.
As Voldemort shot the killing course toward Harry, suddenly a bright light emitted from the baby. Half the course went back straight to Volemort, who didn't have time to duck, but the remaining half went to Harry. The golden light couldn't stop it. Without the sacrifice, the blood magic didn't work fully. Voldemort soul left his body, to search for a new one, and Harry lied there still.
