My Darkness
Welcome to my darkness;
To your own creation.
Admire your surroundings,
Aren't they beautiful?
Lost souls cry,
Screeching for the truth.
My emotions run haywire,
Soon to be crushed by you.
You haunt every corner,
Of my suffering heart.
A battle rages within,
Trying to get rid of you.
I bet you're proud,
To see my own annihilation.
I bet you're ecstatic,
To see me breaking apart.
I shout to the darkness,
Wanting to find the light.
Your presence weakens me;
I get lost in your eyes.
My strength has abandoned me;
I cannot fight back.
These brick walls around me;
Are rising higher to the sky.
Welcome to my darkness;
Behold your creation!
As time begins to pass,
It will slowly devour me alive…
