T.K. Takaishi
As I walk in to the café, it rips my heart apart to see them. They expect a lot from me. They both want me to be theirs. I know I am popular at school, the teenaged girls and freshmen all fawning over me, hundreds of love notes that I receive everyday, all this I can cope up with. But it really pains my hearts to see my two best friends feuding over me in this manner. I don't think I want to be the cause of dispute between them.
As I walked over to their table, the small and slender brunette greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hi T.K, do you want to have some coffee?"
"Of course, I'll get it for you." Offered the tall, bespectacled, violet haired girl.
"Oh, no! I'll get it for him Yolei." Answered back the brunette.
"Stop it Kari, he asked me to…"
"Stop it! Both of you!" I yelled "I'll get it myself." I walked away in disgust. Another morning had started off in the same monotonic way. Yolei and Kari battling over me and me walking away. I wish there was more to life than just this. I sighed. When will my life get a change. When will I meet that person who can truly understand me? I mean Yolei and Kari are sweet. But they just don't seem to understand me.
I got my coffee and joined Kari, Yolei, Davis and Cody.
"Boy was that a fight!" commented Davis, "I could have sworn…"
Cody nudged him by the elbow.
"Oh…I…uh… meant the fight on T.V. last night ."stammered Davis.
"Wasn't it a knock-out T.K.?"
I didn't say anything. I just sat down between Kari and Yolei.
Suddenly, "Hi guys!" the pink-haired angel who had just appeared in front of them was beaming with energy and enthusiasm.
It was Mimi.
The pretty crimson-eyed princess. She was older than me. But I felt strangely attracted towards her. She was so beautiful, warm, understanding, caring, passionate.
My thoughts were interrupted by a manly voice.
"Hey T.K, are you here man?" asked my older brother Matt.
I gave myself a mental shake. "Of course I am!" I answered.
"I was just in town." Said Mimi "I thought I would drop by to say hello.
I looked up at my angel. It was then that I noticed that my big brohar's arm was aound her petite waist. I suddenly felt something inside me burning up.
