DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN CARD CAPTOR SAKURA!

Summary: They both found the right love at the wrong time… both are promised… to

two people they thought they loved… before they knew each other…

Prologue (Tomoyo's POV)

I think I made a mistake, should I have said yes? Was I just carried away by the ambiance of the

night? The romance that filled the air, and the music that spoke of love? Was I? Was I wrong in

saying yes? I asked myself as I looked at the diamond ring I had upon my ring finger, given by my

now fiancé, Joseph Brent.

Flashback (author's POV)

It was their 1-year anniversary, and Joseph prepared a romantic candle lit dinner for the both of

them…after their delicious meal, the orchestra which she never noticed in the first place sprang to

life and played the song "Your Love" by Alamid…

Joseph stood up, extended his hands towards her, in an invitation saying: "Will you dance with me, and she in turn took hold of his hands and let him lead her to the dance floor…

you're the one that never lets me sleep

to my mind, down to my soul you touch my lips

you're the one that i can't wait to see

with you here by my side i'm in ecstasy i am all alone without you

my days are dark without a glimpse of you

but now that you came into my life

i feel complete

the flowers bloom, my morning shines

and i can seeyour love is like the sun

that lights up my whole world

i feel the warmth inside

your love is like the river

that flows down through my veins

i feel the chill insideevery time i hear our music play

reminds me of the things that we've been through

in my mind i can't believe it's true

but in my heart the reality is you

Tomoyo could not recall how it exactly happen… how in one moment they were dancing and

how after that one moment, Joseph was in one knees, holding her hands and popped the question…

"Tomoyo, will you make me the happiest man on Earth by marrying me?"

She didn't know how to react… they were together for only a year and this is what he

planned to do on the exact day of their anniversary… she didn't know what to think, but then

again, she didn't know why she said…

"Yes, I will…"

And with the blink of her eye, he slipped a diamond ring on her finger…

End Flashback

"I need time… time to think things over, time to know if this is what I really want…" she whispered

to herself…

"I'm going to Paris…"
