Living for You

It's funny how destiny can shape a man

Especially one from a dying clan

And you had a hand in molding him

Killed all that he loved and changed his dream

Did you know when you placed his life at stake

That a boy you'd break but a man you'd make?

When you called him unworthy for you to kill,

You gave him a reason to strengthen his will

You taught him t live, but you made him die

Taught him to be strong, but you made him cry

You robbed him of his childhood, but you made him grow

You made him weak, but strengthened him so

And if it weren't for you, he may not be this strong

But it's because of you that he turned to do wrong

Constantly deciding what's wrong or right

But memories of you interfere in his fight

And I tried so hard to steer him away,

Made him live and grow his own way

But thoughts of you always interfere

That's why none of us could keep him here

You were always the first thing in his mind

That's why great power he tries to find

And you know, I just wish he'd live for himself

Find his own dream without anybody's help

Cause even as a child, he wanted to be you,

Lost his own self, without knowing it, too.

You played a great part, he made you his dream

Yet you've given and taken everything from him

You had broken a child, and caused him much pain,

You set him free, but kept him in chains.

Indeed you made him live again

But that fateful night, you changed him then.

To live for himself, he can no longer do

Because now he only lives for you.
