Neji's Smile

just a drabble about Neji. may or may not be nejihina depending on how you read it. havent written fanfic in years. please read and review and help encourage me back to ffn!

Disclaimer: Don't own Naruto but love all the characters to death! There's no pairing here but I'm a big fan of Neji/Hinata! Hehehe, don't go ick! In the anime world, that's alright! )

I haven't written in a LOOONG time. Inspired while hanging out at school.

Neji's Smile

Neji doesn't smile anymore and Hanabi cries

and even Hiashi sheds his inhumane form.

Naruto has finally acknowledged her and
Kiba is quiet for once and Shino is always quiet.

No one but the young sheds tears and
everyone else knows when to be strong.

But strength have weaknesses and weaknesses

she did not have but strength she gained.

But it is Neji who does not smile anymore and

it is Neji who gave her pain and it is he who regrets

and it is he who suffers every time she coughs blood.
Until one day, she coughs her last breath and
Neji stops smiling.
