I know, I know, not very original. Just a little something to get me started on my strange Ron&Bill quest. Will more than likely be all gen and non-slashy.

003. Ends
At the end of it all, Bill regrets not getting to know his youngest brother and sister more. Though he has fairly decent relationships with his brothers through to the twins, both Ron and Ginny seemed to have slipped under his radar. Ron had only been a year old when he went off to Hogwarts, and that wasn't enough time to get to know anyone, really. Ron never managed to really move beyond seeing Bill as an authoritative older brother, and neither tried too hard to change that.
Not only did he not get to know Ron when he was in school, but by the time Ron was going to Hogwarts, he had already moved to Egypt. Now they would only see each other if their holidays matched up, which wasn't all that often. Years went by without them interacting beyond a letter or two a year.
But here and now standing over his youngest brother's freshly dug grave while his mother sobbed made him wish that he had gotten to know his brother better.
