He hated autumn. It looked like a time when everything was burning and though he never mentioned it before (even to his ever-faithful ninja), he absolutely abhored it- the look of an intense deadly fire.
He sat across from her, his frown morphing into a smile as he noticed her steady eyes; steady vibrant green eyes.
He watched and grinned; a look of enigmatic nature.
And she frowned as she stared in turn, wondering if she could possibly read through that grin.
He observed the flames, their orange glow tinting her already alluring orbs; emerald meshing with crimson- a beautiful color in his opinion.
Well, perhaps he could learn to appreciate the look of burning. He pondered this as he watched the bounty huntress shift her gaze towards the demon-eyed slayer of a thousand men.
Ah, yes. Or perhaps he could simply learn to hate the image… with a passion.
