Chapter 2
Hey you guys! Thanks to everyone who has been reviewing, I really appreciate it and I know the chapters are short, but I'm just trying to get the background information out. Hope you like chapter 2!

Nathan had woken up to find Haley still sleeping on the sand. Her uniform was sandy, but she still looked so beautiful.
"I can't believe how messed up things have gotten with us Haley," Nathan stated not thinking that Haley had heard him. What Nathan didn't know was that Haley had been awake the whole time, but decided not to say anything to ruin the moment.
Haley turned over to find Nathan there smiling.
"How did you sleep?" Nathan asked.
"Great," Haley said while stretching and sitting up.
"I should go," Haley said not wanting him to see the tears forming in her eyes.
"Haley, come back here what's wrong?" Nathan asked concerningly.
"I just can't do this, it's to hard, I can't get this close to you, and then nothing happen with us! I don't want that Nathan." Haley stated with the tears now flowing down. Before Nathan had the chance to say anything Haley ran as fast as she could back to the main road.
"I don't want that either Haley," Nathan said quietly to himself. He didn't know how to fix things with them, but he knew he couldn't loose her she was too important. Then, for the first time since she had left, Nathan let out his feelings, and cried.
