Chapter 1
Looking to the Stars
It had been nearly 3 months since Sora closed Kingdom hearts and stopped Ansem, and lost from his two best friends Riku and Kairi.
Sora sat on the top of the accessory shop in Traverse Town staring at the stars. He looked at one particular star though. Donald and Goofy told him that that was the star of the Destiny Islands when it went out and Sora began his journey. 'Kairi.' He thought sadly. He reached into his pocket and pulled out her good luck charm and held it against his chest tightly. Donald and Goofy came out of the shop and noticed Sora on the roof staring into space. "What's wrong with him?" Donald asked. Goofy looked at him. "He misses Kairi. I can't blame him either imagine if you had to be separated from Daisy." Goofy explained. Donald looked down at the ground sadly at the thought. "You're right." He replied
Sora looked down at them and hoped of onto the ground. "So what you guys want to do?" Sora asked happily. "We want to help you get home." Donald answered. Sora looked at him surprised. "What about your king and Riku shouldn't we want to find them first and then get me home?" He asked . Donald and Goofy smiled. "The they would want us to get you home Sora and if they were here he'd don't it without a second thought." Goofy said. "Guys just forget that I can't get home remember the worlds aren't connected anymore remember." Sora said. "The worlds may not be connected by the space between them is forever." Said a voice. The three looked to see Leon and Yuffie behind them smiling. "What are you talking about Leon? Goofy asked. Leon smiled, he had a plan. "Come to the house and we'll explain." Yuffie said and walked away with Leon and Sora, Donald, and Goofy followed.
Meanwhile on the Destiny islands Kairi sat on the lone island where she remembered Sora and Riku used to fight on. She looked at the sky and a tear rolled down her cheek remembering when she last saw Sora and when she discovered he wanted to share with her the paopu. Just then Selphie came up behind her and put her hand on her shoulder. "Still waiting for them to come back." She said. Kairi nodded. "I still remembered when Sora let go of my hand and called out to me when he disappeared. He yelled something to me. It was faint but I was able to make it out. He said I love you Kairi and I love him too." She said. Selphie stared at her sadly. "I wish Tidus would say that to me I envy you." She said trying to cheer her up. Kairi smiled a little. Kairi looked up to and sung softly as Selphie listened.
Crouched down on a rooftop
In my mother's high-heeled shoes

Back as Sora walked through the second district with his friends he looked up at the stars and he could here a voice singing sadly and beautifully.
I carry spring rain in my hair
Weighted sorrow in perfect clouds
Bursting in the air

Kairi finished and tears rolled down her eyes sadly. Selphie looked at her and then at the stars were somewhere Sora was. 'Sora please com back Kairi needs you.' Selphie thought to the stars.
