Rain pounded against her roof, as she stood, gazing out of her window, infatuated
with the pouring rain. Trees outside bent to the commandments of the rushing wind, and
bowed down to the rain as they were pushed down to its biddings. She drew her fingers to
the window, and traced every line and pattern the rain drew on her window.
"He's coming for me…." She spoke softly, under warm breath. "He's on his way."
Shaking free of her captivity of her thoughts to his empowering mind, she pushed all of it away, and knew the only thing she could do was wait.
Soon, she would be queen of the nights, a dark angel.
Walking slowly, easily towards her bed, she sat on it and grasped every moment of life left.
Hair, black as night, and piercing blue eyes that held the very essence of crystal ice she had the appearance of royalty from birth. Her body sickly and laced with anemia, she remained deathly skinny.
A vegetarian since birth, she knew this dark blood sucker was doing nothing but trying to protect her, and get dinner in the mean time…. She wasn't sure if this was the fate she wanted.
Steps began to creek outside of her door, as it delicately began to creek open. Her head darted to the guest, and her eyes grew…
