She Didn't Have Time
Summary: This is a ine-shot and song-fic, but it's a story of when Lily was just killed by Voldemort...

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, or it's charecters... those are J.K. Rowling's, nore do I own the song(country) She Didn't Have Time...
As her neared her, she held her baby tightly... Tears streamed down her cheeks.
He said goodbye from the edge of the porch
like she'd been some casual friend
he said 'your better off with out me
i'm not what you need'
like her momma had said about him
he started the car
pulled out of the drive
didn't waste any time lookin' back
she watched him go
thinkin' even a stranger
would show more compassion than that
"No! I won't let you have him!" she yelled at the dark lord.
"Give me the child and you can live!" said the lord. Voldemort pointed his wand at the woman, her red hair fell to the baby's face.
Lily glared at him. "No! I don't care what the blasted prophecy says! You shall not kill him!"
she could've cried but she didn't have time
she had a baby to feed
a pink blanket to find
to rock their little one to sleep
she could've laid in bed for hours
giving misery the power
but she didn't have time
Voldemort yelled the killing curse. "AVADA KADAVRA!" he yelled, green light blasting from his wand, killing Lily.
"HARRYYY!" she yelled in a high pitched voice.
Harry cried. The boy was only a few months old. He didn't want his momma to leave him yet. He was too young.
she got a sitter, she got a job
'cause she had a promise to keep
her day was a factory and evening survival
at night was exhaustion and sleep
sometimes she felt life was passing her by
and watching was all she could do
her friends said 'you gotta get outta the house
and maybe you'll meet someone new'
she could've tried
but she didn't have time
she had a five year old to feed
she had ballet class, piano lessons
and t-ball little league
she could've laid awake for hours
giving lonely nights the power
but she didn't have the time
Voldemort turned his wand to the small infant. "Now for you," said the creepy man.
Harry continued to cry.
A bright light emitted from Voldemort's wand.
not time where would she find the time
to trust a man again
not time for that flat tire
a crowded parking lot and then
not time but yes have coffee with the man
who got her tired fixed
she was thinking gosh he's handsome
when he asked do you have kids
she could've lied
but she didnt have time
all she said was 'she's five'
he said 'i saw the car seat I love kids
does she have your eyes?'
and they sat and talked for hours
giving destiny it's power
she could've been afraid
to fall in love that night
but she didn't have time
Harry suddenly stopped crying. All noise was blocked from his ears. He felt warm, loving arms wrap around him. The person was protecting him.
she could've been afraid
to fall in love that night
but she didn't have time
He heard a few last things before drifting to sleep. The first of which was his mother. "Harry... Just remember that I love you and always will... Your father and I love you... take care, my son, and listen to that o which your elders tell you..."
The second voice was a scream of the dark lord.
The final, and third was of worried voices, and hurried footsteps coming towards his room.
Mel: I know, it was depressing... and I'm sorry, but life can be depressing...
